These were the words said by the then Liberal Party of Canada leader, Justin Trudeau, in 2014. Anyone with common sense knew how absurd that statement was and to nobodies surprise the budget has, in fact, not balanced itself. When that statement was made by Justin Trudeau, Canadas debt was approx. $687 billion. Today, Canada's debt sits at around $1.4 Trillion. Instead of the budget, "balancing itself," it has dipped further into the deep end of the debt pool. But would you really expect anything else from a high school drama teacher turned Prime Minister?
